Mavrodaphne Patras Kourtaki NV ($9) Luscious, Port-like sweet, full-bodied dessert or aperitif red wine aged in oak.  It is produced from an old red variety, the Mavrodaphe, which flouishes on the vineyards on the slopes overlooking the Gulf of Corinth near the city of Patras. In fact, apart from the nearby island of Cephalonia, this variety grows in no other part of Greece, let alone the rest of the world. Food. One of the few wines that pairs perfectly with chocolate.  Also pairs beautifully with Stilton and other strong cheeses, or enjoy in a snifter by the fire to warm your spirits on a cold day.
